Notice for HSS people,
We decided to quit our regular Wednesday's open hrs from now on.
Recently, there are visitors who drop by their own occasion and schedule so we decided to shut down fixed open hrs and made another flexible open hrs.
If you want to drop by HSS, plz, call 02-2285-5051 before you come and make sure someone's at HSS.
If you find out someone's at HSS, you can freely come and visit us anytime you want. Hope this plan can make people easier to visit HSS. Click here to see Directions
안녕하세요~ 해커스페이스서울에서 새로운 오픈 아워에 대한 방침을 세웠습니다.
이전까지 수요일에 맞춰 못오시는 분들이나 아님 자신의 일정에 의해 잠깐 한국에 들르시는 분들은 수요일 오픈아워에 못오셨는데요, 저희가 이번에 그래서 방침을 조금 유연하게 바꾸었습니다.
앞으로 오시기 전에 해커스페이스서울 사무실 번호 02-2285-5051 여기로 전화주시고 부재중인지 여부확인하시고 스페이스에 사람들이 있는 때 방문하시면 됩니다.
주로 낮시간, 오후 6시까지는 오픈크리에이터스 분들이 저희 공간을 사무실로도 둥지를 틀고 있기때문에 자유롭게 방문가능합니다. 이 링크를 클릭하시면 HSS 장소 설명이 나옵니다.

해커 스페이스 서울은 미디어 아티스트 Noah Shibley 와 함께 openFrameworks 워크샵을 개최한다. 오픈 프레임웍스는 C++ 을 기반으로 하는 오픈 소스 라이브러리로서, 하드코어 코더들이 더욱 창의적인 표현을 할수 있도록 디자인 되어있다. 이번 워크샵에서는 작은 물고기들이 떼를 지어 헤엄치는 원리(swarming)를 구현하는 프로그램을 연구해보고자 한다. 이 워크샵을 통해 발전된 작업은 해커스페이스 서울이 올 10월에 선보일 바이오미메틱스 키네틱 전시에서 선보일 예정이다. 워크샵 참가자들은 xcode 와 codeblock 이 설치된 컴퓨터를 가져올 것. HACKER SPACE SEOUL invites to an openFrameworks workshop with media artist Noah Shibley. openFrameworks is an open source library based on C++, designed as a tool for a effective way of creative expression. on this day, we are going to do research about swarming, a principle for a small fish school. at the biomimetics kinetic exhibition this october in seoul, HACKER SPACE SEOUL will unveil the works combining their originality with the acquired knowledge through this workshop. for participation, bring your computers with xcode and codeblock installed. download link here

밴드 강산에와 플래툰 쿤스트할레 아티스트 랩의 입주작가인 옥타민, 해커스페이스가 협업한 특별한 콘서트를 열린다. 밴드 강산에는 물론 아티스트들 모두 그들의 재능을 플래툰 쿤스트할레의 지속적인 프로그램을 위해 기부하는 공연이며, 관객도 참여하는 인터렉티브 공연이 될 것이다. 이들의 공연 뒤에도 플래툰 쿤스트할레와 오랜 시간 함께 해 온 디제이들의 음악과 파티가 진행될 예정이니 절대 놓치지 말 것.

해커스페이스 서울에서 해커들을 위한 웨어러블 워크샵을 개최한다. 웨어러블 기법은 피지컬 컴퓨팅과 부드러운 섬유를 접목한 새로운 예술영역으로 주목받고 있다. 이번 워크샵은 웨어러블 분야의 혁신적인 작가, 김영희 선생님을 초대하여, 지난 9년간의 재미있는 노하우를 배워보는 자리이다. 웨어러블에 관한 기초 이론과 예제작품, 여러 자재들에 관한 프레젠테이션을 시작으로 전도성실과 LED, 아듀니오, 그 외의 활용품등을 사용하는 간단한 웨어러블기법을 실습해본다. 이 기법을 응용한 해커들의 작품은 8월 19일 플라툰에 열릴 강산에 밴드와의 협연 콘서트에서 밝은 빛을 발할 예정이다.
HACKER SPACE SEOUL will hold its private workshop for wearable items. these items draw public attention with its technique of combining physical computing and soft textile. the workshop invites KIM YOUNGHUI, the innovative interactive wearables artist to a gathering where we can learn about her interesting secret method that she has been accumulating for 9 years ranging from the basic theory about wearable items, pieces made during her past practice, a presentation about different materials to some simple exercises of conductivity, LED and many other applications. masterpieces of hackers utilizing these techniques will shine through on the stage of "FRIENDS OF KUNSTHALLE VOL.1" with BAND KANGSANEH at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE on 19th of august.

디지털을 이용한 건축과 규모와 장르를 넘어서는 미디어 아트에 대한 주제들을 가지고 다양한 방식의 대화와 소통의 장을 만드는 국제 컨퍼런스입니다.
현대 도시에 대해 다시 한 번 생각할 수 있도록 관심과 감흥을 만들어 보는 시간을 갖고 합니다.
올 2011년 이벤트에서 건축과 미디어아트 분야에서 활약하고 있는 5명의 발표자들과 함께 그들의 비전과 생각에 대해 소통하고자 합니다.
도전적이고 생명력 넘치는 도시 서울에서 문화, 아트 퍼포먼스, 사람 등이 함께하는 시간이 될 것입니다.
DALSMA 2011은 총 4 세션으로 구성되어 있습니다.
• 프리젠테이션 - 5인 발표자
발표자들은 15분동안 미디어 아트와 건축에 대한 이야기들을 풀어 갑니다.
발표자들의 프로필은 아래에서 소개합니다.
• 아트 퍼포먼스
프로그램 진행 중간에 작가들의 작품을 선 보입니다.
관람객들은 작가들과 작품을 실시간으로 현장에서 경험하실 수 잇습니다.

•토론 및 소통의 시간
DALSMA 진행의 말미에 진행자에 의해 발표자들과 참가들과 질문과 대답의 시간을 갖습니다. 아티스츠, 발표자들 그리고 참가자들 간의 권위없고 자유로운 소통의 시간입니다.
•애프터 파티
음료와 스낵이 함께 제공될 예정입니다.
DALSMA 총 이벤트는 4시간 정도 (오후 3시-7시) 소요될 예정입니다.
Welcome to PLASMACK!
PLASMACK is a social party co-organized by DALSMA, PLATOON Kunsthalle and Seoul HACKERSPACE, which will take place at PLATOON, on Friday 3 June, 2011 from 8.30 pm to approximatively 2 am.
PLASMACK not only serves as a welcoming party for the DALSMA 2011 event (Saturday, 4 June), but it is also the occasion for us to create a dynamic community interested in media art “in the large”, meaning interactive media pieces in various social settings.
For this reason, PLASMACK is not the usual type of party. We will have several performances, live music, DJs and VJs, interactive social games with free drinks (created by DALSMA and Hackerspace), and of course a lot of networking with cool people and the DALSMA speakers and artists!
PLASMACK is free and no registration is required. Just come and bring your friends!
